When you contact me, please include the following details so I can help you as quickly as possible:
Your Full Name and the Name on the Original Order (if different).
A Clear Photo of the jewellery piece needing service.
A Brief Description of the service you require (e.g., "ring cleaning and polishing," "necklace gold re-plating," "sizing down a size M ring").
Once I have this information, I can assess the request, confirm the feasibility of the work, and provide you with a personalised quote and timeframe.

*Please note that all new setting work undertaken is chargeable.

I offer hard 18ct yellow gold plating, also known as Vermeil. This is a coating of 2.5 microns and above.
Hard plating will last a long time, but it is still a coating of particles across the metal, which will eventually wear, especially on high traffic items such as rings.
Items that wear within three months are eligible for complimentary re-plating. After three months a new charge applies.
18ct hard gold plating starts from £25.

There are three methods of ring sizing :
- Cut & solder
- Stretching / compressing
- Rolling / tapping
The method is determined by the ring - whether it has stones, if the stones can take heat, whether it is increasing in size or decreasing and by how many sizes.
A resize can vary greatly in time, therefore each resize is quoted on an individual basis.
Gold plated rings usually require re-plating after a resize as the plating will spoil in the process.

Ensure items are packaged securely in a padded envelope. Royal Mail Special Delivery is the most secure and reliable service.
Return postage is £9.75, inline with Royal Mail's current charge.

Myself & Mei-Li are both continuing our solo jewellery businesses. It may be possible to order existing Buff designs, if the items are in stock.
We are both available for new bespoke enquires, this is now our specialism.

Running a small business is tough, but we found our power in loving what we do and knowing that our creations make a difference. We know some jewellery just makes you feel good—and some holds incredibly personal and emotional sentiment. We thank you for letting BUFF into your lives and supporting our careers and futures.
We have both learned so much from BUFF and are incredibly proud of what we created. We powered through the challenges of Covid and even navigated joint due dates, just three days apart! With motherhood has come reflection and a natural refocusing. We're both looking forward to diving deep into our own personal creative endeavours. Let's see where these newly opened roads take us!
