For me, jewellery has always been more than just the finished object; the physical movement, the time, and the transition required to bring it into being. Cadence marks a milestone in my craft. For years, I relied on outsourcing stone setting, stepping into this new chapter meant challenging myself in new ways. Pushing my hands to learn the intricacies of cutting stars and raising grains. Relocating from the Jewellery Quarter to my studio in Ludlow was driven by a quiet, long-held ambition: to handle every detail at one bench, from the first wax carve to the final set stone.
These rings also represent the courage of choosing my own path - leaving behind old structures to fully back myself and my art. In the quiet of the new studio, this collection took shape through a meditative ritual. My favourite records, the music taking over, losing myself in microscopic intricacies. It became a hypnotic space where everything else melted away: just me, the rhythm, and the metal, craving that total immersion in the work.

That concept of rhythm is where Cadence found its name. 2026 was a complete rebirth and reshape of my life - geographically, mentally, and creatively. It mirrors a personal awakening off the bench, too: learning to surrender to the music, finding absolute freedom in movement, and trusting myself completely. Each ring in this collection is heavily embellished, heavily textured, and holds a physical piece of that transformation. They are a celebration of rhythm, resilience, and finally stepping into the life and work I was meant to create.
