What started as a vision for a three-ring family stack blossomed into something even more personal. When a client’s partner suggested incorporating her passion for flower-growing, we condensed the concept into a stunning two-ring stacking set. This piece - the first half of the final cluster - brings together a hand-carved marigold representing October, a daisy for April, and a sparkling pink tourmaline, celebrating family through botanicals.

Scaling down from my large flower sculptures to a miniature wearable format was a wonderful challenge. The flowers were carved in wax and brought to life via the lost wax casting process, with the pink tourmaline cradled in a delicate three-claw setting nestled right between the blooms. The band holds a particularly special meaning: it’s a direct silver cast of a real twig foraged in Bournville back when I lived in Stirchley - the place where my journey of growing garden specimens and carving them into jewellery first began.
