Open Decks is a casual, inclusive gathering built around a shared love of music, records, and sound.
Whether you’ve been mixing for years, have just bought your first pair of decks, or simply love discovering new music and hanging out with local sound lovers, this space is open to you. There’s no ego, no music snobbery, and no genre restrictions—just a friendly atmosphere to share tracks, practice, and listen.

How It Works
For Selectors / DJs :
- Format: Vinyl (33/45 RPM) & Digital (USB via Rekordbox / Pioneer setup).
- Slot Length: [e.g. 20–30 minute mini-sets] per selector, depending on numbers.
- How to Play: Sign up for a time slot on the board when you arrive. Slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- What to Play: Deep house, tribal, jazz, folk, techno, ambient, reggae, soul, world, experimental, or obscure b-sides—play whatever moves you or whatever you’ve been dying to test out on a good set of speakers.
What to Expect:
- Gear Provided: Pioneer multi-players / XDJ decks, turntables, and mixer ready to go.
- Friendly Vibe: A supportive environment to test new transitions, practice beat-matching, or play out for the very first time.
- Drinks & Hangout: A selection of hot drinks, soft drinks, and refreshments available throughout the evening.
